NGO DoLadu proudly announces that CAF America, one of the leading philanthropic institutions in the United States, has officially recognized our organization as an eligible international nonprofit, granting us 501(c)(3) equivalency status following a rigorous due-diligence review.
This recognition marks a historic step in DoLadu’s mission to support Ukraine’s veterans, families, and war-affected communities through evidence-based mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS).
A Story of Service, Commitment, and Steady Growth
Since the first days of our work, DoLadu has stood alongside Ukraine’s defenders and their families—not as an institution, but as a community of care.
We began with small group sessions, simple conversations, and safe spaces for veterans returning from the front.
Today, DoLadu facilitates structured MHPSS camps, family programs, women’s resilience groups, community interventions, economic reintegration workshops, and peer-support networks.
Every month, more veterans walk through our doors and tell us:
“This is the first place where someone truly listened.”
The road has never been easy. Growth came not through funding, but through trust, credibility, and the gratitude of those we serve. Slowly but confidently, DoLadu has gained recognition from key international stakeholders—Germany, Canada, U.S. partners, IRC, DAF networks, and now CAF America.
This milestone is a sign that the world is beginning to see what Ukraine already knows:
healing is a national priority, and community-born initiatives like DoLadu are essential to that recovery.
What CAF America Eligibility Means for Ukraine’s Veterans
CAF America’s 501(c)(3) equivalency status unlocks transformative opportunities for DoLadu:
- Scale mental-health services for veterans, families, survivors
- Strengthen our professional team through international support
- Build multi-year partnerships with U.S. foundations, DAF funds, and philanthropic networks
- Expand our MHPSS camps, community hubs, and legal/rights education programs
- Bring Ukraine’s mental health innovation to the global stage
“This is a great honor—and an even greater responsibility. We are ready to carry it with integrity and dedication.”
— DoLadu Team
A Year of Achievements — Powered by Our People
As we approach the end of the year, we reflect with pride:
- Hundreds of veterans and families received psychosocial support
- Multiple regions joined our DoLadu Camp network
- Women’s resilience and family programs expanded
- New international partners recognized our work
- Our community grew stronger, more united, and more hopeful
None of this would be possible without our exceptional team, whose endurance reflects the very spirit of Ukraine—and without the many grateful veterans whose courage motivates us daily.
Ukraine’s Resilience Begins with People — And We Are in the Epicenter of It
Every day, we witness the strength of Ukrainian families rebuilding their lives.
Every hour, we hear stories of resilience stronger than fear.
Every program we run proves the same truth:
Ukraine is unbreakable because its people are unbreakable.
Healing is resistance. Recovery is victory. Community is our frontline.
Thank You, CAF America
DoLadu expresses deep gratitude to CAF America for recognizing Ukrainian-led mental health recovery and for amplifying the voices of those who rebuild not only their lives, but the country’s dignity and future.
Together, we bring Ukraine one step closer to healing.
